Scaleway plans AMD MI355X supercomputer in Sweden and Nvidia B300 GPU zone in Copenhagen
Scaleway announced on October 13, 2026 that it will deploy an AMD Instinct MI355X "AI supercomputer" in Sweden, its first supercomputer outside France, with Vast Data providing the data platform. It also plans a "GPU zone" in Copenhagen offering Nvidia HGX B300 compute. The company has not disclosed GPU counts or compute capacity for the Swedish system, and how the Copenhagen zone differs from it is unclear.
Why it matters
European AI capacity is diversifying across AMD and Nvidia hardware in the Nordics, which gives builders and AI strategy leads more regional options, though capacity, power and timing details remain undisclosed.
