Oracle sends force majeure notice to Blue Owl over Project Jupiter in New Mexico
Bloomberg reports Oracle is seeking protection from added costs and delayed payments if the New Mexico campus misses its 2028 deadline. The state rejected a natural gas pipeline extension to the 1,400-acre site in July, and Oracle has since issued an RFP for 2 GW of renewables. Oracle says the project remains on schedule.
Why it matters
A campus without secured power is now a contract risk, and financing partners are the ones carrying it.
